Mac aside, not overstressing your computer will extend it's usable lifespan, so always overspec for what you need and you also future proof your workflow. As for mac, I'm still not convinced it's worth the asking price, but if I look at how Windows is toying with inbuilt ads, I'd argue that Apple is possibly the last bastion of a commerical OS free from bloatware. If it works for you who cares what anyone thinks.
